A place to arrive as yourself.
Small-group connection through conversation, creative games, and shared experiences. Welcome Circles give young people room to meet peers, practice self-expression, and feel less alone in a new community.

Find your people.
What this can look like
Try a low-pressure introduction, create a personal belonging map, and explore the places and people that help you feel at home. Sharing is always a choice.
Who it is designed for
Young people navigating a new school, a new neighborhood, or the space between cultures.
Your comfort comes first
You do not need to share a personal story to take part in a creative activity. You can listen, pass, ask for a pause, or choose another way to contribute. Families should ask about consent, supervision, accommodations, and group expectations before joining.
Before you join
Contact NewRoots to discuss current availability, age suitability, schedules, costs, and participation requirements. We will help you understand the next steps and find the right fit for your family.
